Warehouse Logistics Manager

About the Role

Our company is going through a significant period of growth and we are looking to employ a highly motivated Warehouse Logistics Manager to lead our highly experienced Warehouse team

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for leading a team within the warehouse; setting and developing team performance standards and improving efficiencies within the logistics department. With a focus on safety and a passion for continuous improvement, you will lead by example and have a “hands on” approach. You will be responsible for ongoing strategic developments of the warehouse while also maintaining daily operations to achieve business objective. In this key role ryou will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining inventory and stock control
  • Managing inwards and outwards of goods with a large focus on raw material for production
  • Managing warehouse staff
  • Regular stock takes, ordering and organising stock.
  • Ensuring correct transportation and movement of stock
  • Ensure efficient space utilisation
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
  • Performing administrative duties
  • Enforcing warehouse processes and procedures
  • Ensuring high standards of health and safety are maintained.
  • Responsible for the adherence and continued improvements of procedures and methods of operations
  • Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status

To be successful in this role ideally you will have:

  • Strong experience at a large warehouse facility (state or national level);
  • Completed or be close to completing a degree in logistics, supply chain management, commerce, operations management or similar;
  • The ability to speak confidently and effectively to a group of people
  • A problem solving attitude – you are a person who creates solutions rather than dwelling on problems
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Forklift licence
  • Experience managing busy fast paced operations
  • Ability to solve complex situations in a timely manner
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • A strong knowledge of OH & S
  • A positive can do attitude.

Account Manager - NSW

About the Role

Based in Sydney, you will service a wide variety of customers including coffee roasters, foodservice distributors and retail brand owners. Although home based, you will spend much of your time on the road interacting with customers, and more importantly identifying and securing new business opportunities.

You will collaborate with all departments, in particular marketing and project management to develop brand and private label solutions tailored to customers.

What you will be doing

  • Nurturing positive customer relationships.
  • Collaborating with Marketing, Operations, R&D, QA and Finance teams to ensure industry best customer service, particularly DIFOT.
  • Using your advanced selling and negotiation skills to expand product ranging with existing customers, both branded and private label.
  • Using your analytical and commercial skills to identify territory gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Identifying and qualifying leads and securing new accounts to fill the gaps.
  • Achieve agreed KPIs, mainly call cycles, new product launches and sales targets.
  • Accurate and timely reporting via CRM (Salesforce).

To be successful in this role you

  • Have a proven track record in a similar role.
  • Are trustworthy, confident and goal focussed.
  • Possess commercial acumen.
  • Can demonstrate strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • An established network in the Coffee/Foodservice industry a plus.
